The Training the Trainers workshop is designed for young teachers of screen writing who wish to enhance their skills in film dramaturgy and script doctoring and exchange experiences with teachers from other European film schools.

This workshop was created to help the teachers to “open the door” into the environment of professional filmmaking as well as to assist them with the gradual adaptation of curricula to suit the needs of current production of narrative films.

Who is it for?
Young teachers (including PhD students) of screen writing and dramaturgy working at film schools in European countries.

What will you do?
The first day of the workshop includes introductory lecture on methodology as well as scene writing and character development workshops. During days two and three, the participants engage in project analyses, either working with their tutors directly or observing the tutors’ classes. In each case, they work with materials which they have studied beforehand.

Fee: EUR 100
The fee includes accommodation, board and tuition materials at the workshops. Travel costs are NOT included.
