About
MIDPOINT was launched by FAMU Prague as a professional script development and film dramaturgy training platform aimed at narrative film projects.
MIDPOINT was created with the belief that script development in Central Europe can be enhanced by supporting writers, directors and producers to become creative partners in the process.
MIDPOINT provides several types of programmes designed to cover the area of film dramaturgy and to systematically assist filmmakers during the entire development process. The long-term goal of MIDPOINT is to serve as a laboratory fostering innovations in the area of script development.
MIDPOINT partner schools include VŠMU Bratislava, PWSFTviT Łódź, UNATC Bucharest, SZFE Budapest, and dffb Berlin.
